About this Role

We are seeking a DevOps Expert to lead and deliver production-ready solutions for hosting applications on private cloud environments. This role involves creating secure, reliable platforms using Kubernetes and other modern technologies to accelerate application lifecycle management across Vodafone’s global operations.

What you’ll do

  • Architect and implement codified cloud infrastructure using Docker, Kubernetes, and Jenkins.
  • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines on Kubernetes.
  • Participate in all phases of the delivery lifecycle, including design, development, test automation, and release.
  • Summarise and deliver technical information through documentation and presentations to stakeholders.
  • Troubleshoot incidents and service requests, ensuring timely resolution within agreed SLAs.

Who you are

  • Experienced in IT deployments with at least 7 years in enterprise-wide architecture and 5 years in cloud environments (Azure, AWS, GCP).
  • Skilled in containerisation technologies (Kubernetes/Docker) and configuration automation tools (Ansible, Terraform, Chef, Puppet).
  • Proficient in scripting languages such as Python, Ruby, or Go; software development skills are a plus.Strong stakeholder engagement and ability to influence at all organisational levels.
  • ITIL Foundation certification is desirable.
