We are seeking a DevOps Expert to lead and deliver production-ready solutions that host applications for multiple clients on private cloud infrastructure. This role focuses on building secure, reliable, and scalable platforms using Kubernetes and AWS services, enabling faster delivery of modern applications across Vodafone globally.

• Build, operate, and continuously improve Kubernetes (EKS) platforms for security, reliability, and cost-efficiency.
• Design and maintain reusable Infrastructure as Code stacks using Terraform for AWS networking, IAM, storage, and security.
• Provide self-service platforms for developers with standardised templates, deployment pipelines, and infrastructure provisioning.
• Develop automation and internal tooling (Python/Bash) to eliminate manual tasks and accelerate delivery.
• Implement and enforce security guardrails, including IAM least privilege, secrets management, and controlled production access.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins) with safe rollout and rollback strategies.
• Embed observability by default with logging, metrics, alerting, tracing, and SLO dashboards.
• Collaborate with product teams to enhance developer experience and reduce operational overhead.

• Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes (cluster operations, scaling, networking, Helm, security policies).
• Proficient in AWS core services (EKS, ECR, VPC, IAM, ALB/NLB, CloudWatch, Secrets Manager/KMS).
• Skilled in Terraform for modular infrastructure design.
• Minimum 3 years in DevOps, Platform, or Cloud roles managing production workloads.
• Solid understanding of cloud security principles and networking fundamentals.
• Practical experience with Git workflows and CI/CD pipeline integration.
• Proficient in Python and Bash scripting for automation.
• Strong Linux fundamentals and containerisation best practices (Docker).
• Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/EFK).
