About this Role
What you’ll do
- Lead the design, implementation, and ongoing optimisation of CI/CD pipelines to support frequent, reliable software releases.
- Build and maintain infrastructure as code to enable scalable, resilient, and secure platforms.
- Foster strong collaboration between software development, QA, operations, architecture, and product teams to remove silos and improve delivery outcomes.
- Provide technical leadership, coaching, and guidance to DevOps team members, supporting their professional growth.
- Lead incident response, crisis management, and service restoration activities, ensuring minimal business and customer impact.
- Own root cause analysis and drive preventive actions to reduce recurring incidents and improve system reliability.
- Implement and manage monitoring, alerting, and observability solutions to ensure high availability and performance.
- Proactively identify risks, bottlenecks, and performance issues, driving continuous improvement initiatives.
- Govern and enforce security, compliance, and operational best practices across DevOps and SRE processes.
- Engage with vendors and internal stakeholders to deliver effective technical solutions aligned to business priorities.
Who you are
- An experienced DevOps professional with a strong background in leading teams within complex, multi-stakeholder environments.
- Comfortable working in international, distributed teams with excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Highly organised, with the ability to prioritise multiple initiatives and deliver against tight timelines.
- Technically proficient across Linux/Unix and Windows environments and major cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and GCP.
- Experienced with containerisation and orchestration technologies including Docker and Kubernetes, OpenShift, or Helm.
- Skilled in CI/CD tooling (for example Jenkins, GitLab, GitHub, GoCD) and infrastructure automation tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
- Familiar with automation and scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Shell.
- Knowledgeable in monitoring and observability tools including Grafana, Zabbix, Dynatrace, Splunk, or similar.
- A collaborative leader with strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
