About this Role
We are seeking a skilled Platform and DevOps Engineer to join our Network Data Platform Engineering team. This role focuses on designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable data and software solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). The individual will be responsible for CI/CD pipeline development, container orchestration, and infrastructure automation using Terraform. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with GCP, DevOps tools, scripting languages, and a strong understanding of system reliability and performance. A GCP certification is required.
What you’ll do
- Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure on GCP using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, primarily Terraform.
- Build, automate, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support platform and application deployments with high availability and security.
- Act as a subject matter expert across support, project, and integration teams to ensure high-quality delivery.
- Deploy and manage containerised applications using Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, and ArgoCD.
- Drive operational improvements and apply DevOps principles to enhance deployment cycles and system reliability.
Who you are
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in a DevOps role with a proven track record.
- Strong technical knowledge of GCP, Linux, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and CI/CD pipeline development.
- Advanced experience with Terraform for complex infrastructure setups.
- Proficient in Python and Bash scripting for automation.
- Experienced in system administration, service automation, and monitoring solutions.
- Skilled in managing Docker and Kubernetes clusters.
- Strong understanding of networking, databases, DNS, proxies, and security.
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
