Role purpose:

As a service manager subject matter expert for Marketplace and a focal point of contact and for the technology delivery teams. Ensuring that all technology changes will deliver against the business requirements in a way that is consistent with the Marketplace operating model.
 

Key accountabilities and decision ownership:

•    Able to understand the technical realities behind implementation “blockers” of technology change, and to provide advice as to which resolutions are most appropriate.
•    Providing technical guidance and developing the technical skills of other members of the marketplace squads. Ensuring that technical learnings are shared with the appropriate team members.
•    Maintaining a good awareness of new feature developments and releases from either the vendor or Vodafone group and providing guidance as to their readiness for introduction.
•    Providing consultancy to the Product owner to help define feature prioritization; ensuring that the compromises and constraints are fully understood.
•    Providing input to requirements gathering and HLD reviews.
•    Maintaining the end-to-end customer experience of the platform, ensuring a high-quality cross channel user experience.
•    Experience in setting up integration with multiple third-party applications. Good understanding of APIs, java SDK and multiple application interfaces. 
•    Oversee design, development, testing and implementation of assigned programs and guide teammates
•    Help resolve technical problems as and when they arise
•    Strong development and Testing concept understanding and execution 
•    Analytical skills/Attention to detail

•    Design, development, testing and implementation of assigned programs and guide teammates
•    Testing expertise: Test scenario preparation, Test execution and Test Completion Report
•    Experience in working on digital platforms
•    Ability to collaborate within cross functional teams and to interact with broad range of stakeholders 
•    A collaborative working style and ability to quickly build good working relationships able to communicate across different working cultures.
•    Able to distil complex information into simple digestible points 
•    Curious and learning oriented
