About this Role
We are seeking a Digital Innovation Expert to join our Platform AI and Innovation team within Platform Engineering. This role is pivotal in shaping the strategy and design of new digital solutions, working closely with product teams and customers to translate requirements into innovative platform designs. The individual will lead vendor selection and management, apply design thinking methodologies, and drive the evolution of our digital solution portfolio.
What you’ll do
- Define strategic blueprints for digital platforms and solutions, guiding internal developers and external vendors.
- Lead innovation initiatives and best practices for owned solutions.
- Manage vendor selection and ongoing vendor relationships for assigned products and platforms.
- Conduct continuous data analysis to identify new opportunities and enhance platform value.
- Apply design thinking to develop new solution designs and proof-of-concept projects.
Who you are
- Experienced in deep data analysis and capable of working with complex datasets and data models.
- Skilled in Google Cloud Platform, data science, and GenAI technologies.
- Able to interpret business requirements and propose strategic improvements.
- Strong leadership in multi-national, multi-cultural environments.
- Knowledgeable in innovation methodologies such as design thinking, lean start-up, and agile development.
- Holds a degree in Telecommunications Engineering or similar, with at least 5 years of experience in network engineering.
- Possesses strong analytical skills and familiarity with modern technologies and interdependencies.
- Desirable: Knowledge in Data Science or Data Engineering and Agile foundations.
