About this Role

We are seeking an Employee Experience Lead to design, implement and continuously improve the end-to-end employee experience across VOIS. You will align employee journeys with business strategy, the desired VOIS culture, the digital and workplace experience agenda, and the organisation’s transformation priorities.
Acting as the Centre of Expertise lead for Employee Experience, you will use employee insights, feedback and data to improve engagement, productivity, retention and organisational effectiveness. You will work collaboratively across HR, Technology, Property, Health & Safety, Communications and business leadership to deliver practical, human-centred and scalable improvements across multiple geographies and national cultures

What you’ll do

Define and implement a VOIS-wide employee experience framework anchored in the Employee Value Proposition.Use business needs, data, employee feedback and insight to identify experience priorities.Establish a consistent approach across VOIS Centres while accommodating relevant local needs.Translate the Employee Value Proposition into practical choices across culture, communications, workplace and employee experience.
Design and improve key moments across the employee lifecycle.Partner with HR teams to enhance onboarding, development, career growth, mobility and offboarding.Identify and remove friction affecting employee effectiveness, engagement and satisfaction.Embed employee-centred design principles into HR programmes and processes.Work with Talent Acquisition, Culture, Internal Communications and other stakeholders to create coherent employee journeys.
Partner with HR, Technology, Property and business stakeholders to reflect evolving AI-enabled ways of working, technology and workplace design in the employee experience agenda.Translate technology-driven change into accessible employee journeys, adoption requirements, engagement activities and feedback loops.Work with the Property Team to help workplace environments support collaboration, culture and new ways of working.Collaborate with Health & Safety and other stakeholders so that relevant wellbeing considerations inform employee experience interventions.Identify and address experience friction resulting from new technologies, AI-enabled work and workplace change.
Lead employee-listening mechanisms, feedback collection and insight generation.Develop engaging approaches to understanding the colleague voice beyond standard surveys where appropriate.Analyse feedback, engagement data and experience insights to identify trends, root causes and opportunities.Help leaders and HR teams translate insights into meaningful and measurable action.Partner with Group stakeholders while ensuring VOIS-specific needs remain visible.Ensure employee listening results in visible action, stronger trust and continuous improvement
Develop employee experience metrics and reporting frameworks.Track outcomes, programme effectiveness and progress against agreed measures.Use evidence to prioritise improvements and support decision-making.Benchmark relevant practices and emerging trends, including AI-enabled and workplace-related employee experience.
Collaborate with Group HR, Employee Experience, Health & Safety and other Centre of Expertise stakeholders.Share insights, make use of relevant good practice and ensure VOIS priorities are represented in broader people initiative

Who you are

You have strong experience in employee experience, employee engagement or organisational effectiveness.
You have designed employee journeys and people-focused solutions across the employee lifecycle.
You have delivered outcomes across multiple geographies, national cultures and complex matrix organisations.
You bring strong analytical, insight-generation and problem-solving skills.
You can translate employee feedback, business priorities and data into practical improvements.
You understand how employee experience connects with culture, talent priorities and the Employee Value Proposition.
You collaborate effectively across HR, Communications, Property, Health & Safety, Group functions and business leadership.
You understand how AI-enabled work, technology adoption and workplace environments influence engagement and productivity.You can align multiple stakeholder agendas into coherent plans and practical activation.You communicate clearly and can support change adoption and stakeholder engagement.You balance strategic thinking with practical execution and continuous improvement.You care about creating employee-centred experiences that improve organisational performance.
