What you’ll do

We are seeking an experienced engineering leader to provide strategic and hands-on technical direction for large-scale frontend engineering teams delivering digital solutions across major European markets. This role focuses on leading leaders, shaping frontend architecture, driving engineering excellence, and enabling high-performing teams to deliver scalable, secure, and user-centred digital applications.
Lead and oversee multiple frontend engineering teams and squads, ensuring alignment with business priorities and delivery outcomes at scaleAct as the technical lead-of-leads, setting frontend architecture, standards, tooling, and engineering practices across teamsGuide and support people managers and technical leads in performance management, career development, and organisational designDrive the delivery of high-quality, production-grade frontend applications with strong focus on performance, usability, maintainability, and reliabilityTake accountability for frontend architecture and infrastructure, including ReactJS, Next.js, TypeScript, CI/CD pipelines, environment management, deployment processes, and cloud integrationEmbed strong engineering practices across testing, automation, static analysis, quality gates, and secure codingIdentify and leverage emerging AI technologies to improve development productivity, code quality, security, and team effectivenessFoster a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, innovation, and proactive problem-solving across large engineering organisationsNavigate complex stakeholder environments, providing clear communication, coaching, and informed decision-making

Who you are

An experienced software engineering professional with extensive background in frontend development and large-scale technical leadership
Proven experience leading other leaders and managing large engineering organisations, including performance management, hiring, coaching, and organisational growth
Strong expertise in modern frontend technologies and frameworks, with deep understanding of scalable system design and architecture
Confident in setting technical direction while balancing pragmatism, delivery needs, and long-term sustainability
Skilled in building inclusive, engaged, and high-performing teams through effective communication, empathy, and structured leadership
Comfortable working across complex environments with multiple stakeholders, markets, and delivery priorities
