Role Purpose

To account, review & control SDSL service and healthcare contracts, which requires special accounting treatment. Insure accurate revenue reporting and compliance with standards. Maintain smooth operations. Work closely with auditors to review and validate balance sheets. Contribute to optimize financial processes to support the team’s objectives.

Key Accountabilities & Decision Ownership

•    Having adequate knowledge for Vodafone Products and Services.
•    Monthly calculation for period revenue recognized.
•    Monthly reconciliation between BO/BI reports and KE24 reports.
•    Fulfilling of Vodacom requirements on a timely manner and benchmarking against Vodacom practices.
•    Dealing with several stakeholders ( Decision Support, Cash Collection, Taxation, etc.)
•    Meet monthly closing deadlines.
•    Accuracy and integrity of Balance Sheet reconciliations & meeting group requirements for BSR.
•    Identify and mitigate financial risks within the profile.
•    Provide strategic financial insights to support business decisions and growth initiatives.
•    Ensure that controls implemented are consistent with SOX compliance requirements.

Must have technical / professional qualifications: 


•    Preferrable Qualified accountants (CPA, ACCA)
•    XLS/access basic user.
•    Minimum 4 years working experience in Finance or Accounting.
•    Preferrable a solid background of SAP 
•    Good knowledge of relational/non-relational database management systems
