Role Purpose
Lead Data Governance Function and collaborate with various stakeholders to develop and implement effective data strategies, enhance data governance, and optimize data utilization across the organization. The role will be critical in leveraging data as a strategic asset to drive innovation, customer experience, operational efficiency, and revenue growth in the industry
Role Profile
- Develop and execute the data strategy: Define the vision, goals, and roadmap for data management,
- analytics, and insights in alignment with the company's overall business strategy.
- Identify opportunities to leverage data assets and analytics to drive revenue growth, operational efficiency, and cost optimization.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data standards, data classification, and data lifecycle management processes.
- Lead data governance initiatives: Establish data governance frameworks, policies, and procedures to ensure data quality, integrity, security, and compliance
- Work closely with business leaders to identify key business questions, define metrics, and develop analytical models to drive actionable insights and informed decision-making.
- Drive data-driven decision-making: Promote a data-driven culture throughout the organization by advocating for the value of data and analytics.
- Oversee data architecture and infrastructure: Collaborate with IT teams to design and implement scalable data architectures, data lakes, data warehouses, and data integration processes.
- Ensure the availability, reliability, and performance of data platforms and tools for efficient data processing and analytics.
- Manage data analytics and reporting: Establish frameworks and methodologies for data analytics, predictive modelling, and reporting. Enable the delivery of timely and accurate analytics solutions to internal stakeholders, enabling them to monitor business performance, identify trends, and make datadriven decisions.
- Foster strategic partnerships: Identify and collaborate with external partners, vendors, and industry experts to leverage emerging technologies, data sources, and best practices. Stay abreast of industry trends, advancements, and regulatory requirements related to data management and analytics.
