IE Project Manager (VOIS)
Role Purpose:
Within Vodafone Business Ireland there is a requirement to conduct a Network Evolution program that will facilitate the retirement of various network elements as well as migrating customers onto optimized transport network that will yield significant Opex savings for Vodafone Ireland.
To progress the ambitions of the network evolution, Vodafone seeks a customer facing project coordinator who is enthusiastic, proactive and technically aware of network solutions. You must enjoy working in technical environments on a range of projects and be part of the strong multi-disciplined Customer Engineering Team and be a good team player with a desire to develop technically. You will gain experience working on complex network projects while developing your potential and accreditations.
The primary role of the project coordinator will be to assist and organize activities within the program team to keep multiple streams of activities on track to achieve the milestones set out for the Network evolution program.
Key Accountabilities and Decision Ownership:
• As a project manager, the job will be to coordinate people and processes to ensure that the projects are delivered on time and produce the desired results
• Acts as a Go-to person for everything involving a project’s organization and timeline
• Develop detailed project plans, ensure resource availability/allocation and delivering every project on time within the budget and scope
• Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques
• Specific project manager responsibilities include implementation, deployment of Services to deliver agreed solution
• Responsible for tracking key project milestones and deliverables from multiple teams / individuals
• Act as a point of contact for projects as necessary to help manage delivery/implementation
• Adhere to change management processes to ensure implementations are controlled and managed with minimal impact to the network

Must have Technical / Professional Qualifications:
• Great educational background, in the field of computer science or engineering
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Project management
• Certified Project management (PRINCE2/PMP/Agile)
• Proficient in Microsoft tools, including MS Project
• Knowledge of document management systems
• Excellent client facing and internal communication skills
• Strong communication and decision-making skills with the ability to balance conflicting needs
• Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
