About this Role
What you’ll do
- Develop high-level and low-level designs (HLDs and LLDs) for network and security solutions
- Design and optimise network infrastructure to improve performance, scalability, and cost efficiency
- Standardise and modularise configurations to enable consistent implementation across environments
- Deploy secure networks aligned with service and application requirements, including capacity and utilisation planning
- Harmonise LAN, wireless, and office network services across regions
- Implement virtualisation and network segmentation strategies
- Conduct proof-of-concept validations and support testing, auditing, and acceptance activities
- Define and manage test plans, catalogues, and environments while documenting all quality assurance activities
- Collaborate with engineering, operations, and security teams to deliver integrated solutions
- Support tender processes and oversee third-party vendors and partners
- Drive innovation in security networking and promote best practices across teams
- Ensure high-quality documentation aligned with architectural standards
- Contribute to knowledge sharing and capability development within the wider network team
Who you are
- Experience working within large-scale IT environments supporting complex network infrastructures
- Strong understanding of IP networking, including protocols, architectures, and hardware
- Expertise in network security technologies such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, PKI, encryption, and authentication frameworks
- Proficiency in automation scripting using languages such as Python or Go
- Experience designing and executing system testing frameworks and documentation
- Familiarity with network management, monitoring, and analysis tools
- Ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional and multicultural teams
- Understanding of IT service management principles and operational environments
- Knowledge of mobile network operator ecosystems and standard architectures
- Strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts into practical solutions
