Role Purpose:

to plan, design, optimize network Security services and solutions of different technologies & vendors through liaising with different business domains to capture business requirements and customer’s needs, the role include leading and managing virtual technology teams during the design and implementation of the new services and solutions, leading solution assurance with other technology domains throughout delivery phase and provide support for technology operations teams after new services and solutions are transitioned to operations.

Key accountabilities and decision ownership:

•    To lead the technical assessment, planning and design of NW security-focused tools and services including project leadership roles in a consistent way with the department product catalogue, strategy and architecture
•    Capturing customer/business requirements and analysing those requirements from a technical feasibility point of view
•    Leading and managing virtual technology teams, managing different stakeholders from business, technology, operators during solution design and implementation phases.
•    Act as the main technical representative of the project team and competence area to all stakeholders, including the customer and Technology management.


•    Evaluate and promote new technology solutions and integration with legacy systems, identify opportunities to add value to the business by resolving existing demands or issues through the reusability of existing products or solutions and advise and share experience on complex issues by providing technical guidance to project team members (consultancy).
•    Low Level design and Solution Documentation 
 

Core competencies, knowledge and experience:

•    4+ years of experience in NW Security planning and design within a mobile operating company or service provider.
•    Background in mobile and/or fixed network technology (design, implementation and roll out of services).
•    Ability to develop workable product solutions to address the strategic imperatives of the business.

Must have technical / professional qualifications:

•    Bachelor degree in electronic/telecommunications engineering.
•    Deep understanding of different Security platforms and concepts (FWs,AAA,IPS, Proxies, IPSEC tunnels, VPNs, WAF, NAT,PKI ...)
•    CCNP security certification and/or equivalent certification in Juniper.


•    Hands On Experience in different vendors platforms in IP and Security domain (Cisco, Juniper,Nokia, Fortigate, Paloalto, F5 ..) .
•    Basic knowledge with SOX and PCI compliance is a plus

•    Strong understanding of project management skills (methodologies and tools) proven by a successful track record of project delivery.
•    Basic knowledge with SOX and PCI compliance is a plus
•    Good understanding of protocols and products in mobile networks: GSM, 3G,4g.
•    Good knowledge of cisco Datacenter solutions and platforms (Nexus Switches, Cisco ACI,..) 
•    Good Knowledge of different programming and automation languages (C++, Paython, Ansible..).
•    Good  Knowledge of SDN and NFV concepts .
•    Good Knowledge in Virtualization and cloud infrastructure ( Openstack, VMWare, ..).
