About this Role
We are seeking a Packet Core Solution Architect to lead the design, planning, and implementation of PS/EPC projects across legacy and virtualised platforms. The individual will be responsible for managing expansions, upgrades, and acting as a technical consultant to the Packet Core teams. This role requires strong technical expertise in mobile networks and virtualisation, as well as the ability to lead cross-functional teams and deliver innovative solutions aligned with business needs.
What you’ll do
- Lead technical assessment, planning, and design of packet core solutions in line with strategic architecture.
- Capture and analyse customer and business requirements for technical feasibility.
- Manage virtual technology teams and coordinate stakeholders across business and technology functions.
- Represent the project team and technical domain to internal and external stakeholders.
- Evaluate new technologies, integrate with legacy systems, and provide consultancy on complex technical issues.
Who you are
- Minimum 4 years of experience in Packet Core/EPC.
- Strong project management capabilities with a proven track record.
- Background in mobile technology including service design and rollout.
- Demonstrated experience in telecom solution design.
- Bachelor’s degree in electronic or telecommunications engineering.
- Deep understanding of GSM, 3G, 4G, and 5G protocols.
- Certified in CCNA/CCNP or equivalent (e.g., Juniper).
- Hands-on experience with equipment from vendors such as Cisco, Ericsson, Huawei.
- Advanced knowledge in virtualisation and cloud infrastructure (OpenStack, VMware).
- Familiarity with programming and automation languages.
