About this Role

 

We are seeking an experienced and highly capable IoT Scrum Master to support Vodafone’s key strategic growth areas in Internet of Things (IoT). This role sits at the heart of the IoT Digital team and is responsible for establishing and embedding an end-to-end agile culture across IoT enablement and applications delivery. The individual will take full accountability for agile execution across multiple IoT projects, working closely with technical delivery leads, product owners, architects, engineers, system integrators and developers to ensure timely, high-quality and value-driven delivery.

What you will do

 

Take end-to-end ownership and accountability for establishing and embedding agile values, principles, methods and practices across IoT project deliveries.
Act as Scrum Master for IoT projects, facilitating collaboration, constructive discussions and conflict resolution to maintain delivery momentum.
Organise and facilitate agile ceremonies including sprint and release planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, retrospectives and demos.
Coach and mentor team members and stakeholders on agile ways of working, ensuring consistent best practices across workstreams.
Ensure correct setup, governance and effective use of CDI tools, with project documentation maintained and updated for every sprint.
Manage stakeholder and vendor interfaces, providing clear reporting on progress, risks, metrics and delivery outcomes.

Who you are

 

An experienced Scrum Master with a strong understanding of IoT technologies and solution architectures.
Confident working in complex, multi-project agile environments, with a proven track record of successful delivery.
Technically literate, with the ability to understand architecture, source code and technical challenges to support effective decision-making.
A collaborative communicator with excellent English language skills (B2 level or above), able to present clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
Calm and resilient under pressure, proactive in removing impediments and focused on continuous improvement.
Certified Scrum Master or Scrum Practitioner, with hands-on experience using CDI tools such as Jira, Git, Confluence and Jenkins.
Familiar with enterprise and multi-device development technologies such as Java, Oracle Databases, ITIL and SOA; exposure to cloud and data warehousing is advantageous.
Educated to BSc or MSc level in Software Engineering, Computer Science or Telecommunications.
