Role Purpose

The Margin Assurance Associate Manager is responsible for safeguarding revenue and ensuring margin integrity across Vodafone Egypt’s products and services. This role blends financial oversight, technical reconciliation, and digital innovation to proactively detect, investigate, and resolve margin leakage risks.

Key Accountabilities & Decision Ownership

Core Responsibilities

 

  • Lead end-to-end reconciliation of transaction data across systems
  • Investigate anomalies and variances exceeding thresholds, coordinating with agile squads and technical teams.
  • Monitor deferred revenue
  • Support SOX controls and internal audits by documenting investigations and escalations.
  • Collaborate with commercial, and IT teams to address invalid trends and optimize processes.

 

 

 Digital & Analytical Focus

 

  • Leverage AI/ML models for predictive analytics and proactive risk detection.
  • Automate assurance workflows using RPA and cloud-based tools.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards for real-time margin insights.
  • Mentor junior analysts on tools like SQL, Python, and telecom architecture.
  • Participate in agile squads to support mediation, charging, and DWH development functions.

Core Competencies, Knowledge, and Experience

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. Master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., CIMA, CPA) is a plus.

 

Experience:

    • Minimum 6 years in telecom or fintech assurance, with at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
    • Proven experience in Margin Assurance for Telecom, card/wallet Settlement and reconciliation operations and banking reconciliation ,processes.
    • Strong understanding of Telecom/fintech ecosystems, digital wallets, and payment gateways.
    • Hands-on experience with reconciliation tools
    • Familiarity with SOX compliance, and internal audit protocols.

 

Skills:

    • Advanced Excel, SQL, and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
    • Knowledge of automation platforms
    • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
    • Ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple stakeholders.
