Role Purpose
Maximize revenue realization of Vodafone’s products and services, through detecting and/or preventing revenue leakage that occurs either because of technical/business conflicts. while also identifying unprofitable traffic scenarios and customer behavior supported by analytics.
All value added revenue/loss prevention to contribute in an annual target of > 200M.
Key Accountabilities & Decision Ownership
• Perform VF Cash control over internal and external application aiming to :
- Ensure physical cash / Trust account Ending balances in sponsor bank vs. E-Money reconciled daily and bank balance is correct.
- All wallets' transactions are correct and resulted the correct Ending balance on each consumer and business wallets.
- Reconcile daily the money movement with external partner/aggregators and other telecom operators and obtain Monthly confirmation on total Trade volumes / Value.
- Ensure Fees calculation and revenue recognition are correct as per commercial rules.
ensure accurate reflection of volumes and values since transaction issuance until settlement and interfacing to sponsor Bank.
- Ensure API correctly interfaced the accurate volumes / Values of Payments into Internal charging / billing Systems and that no Over /under charging happened that may cause losses or bad customer experience .
- Insure complete reflection of data in DWH to enable MEC.
• Create and maintain Database with product specifications for company products and services..
• Review Samples of the VF cash customers transactions and Validate it against the Commercial Business rules
• Perform control testing daily/monthly on the products and services revenue aiming to ensure :-
- Rating is correct
- Granting quota as agreed in commercial rules
- Bundle expiry date or renewal date
- Customers eligibility
- Any other elements defined in controls index
• Reconciliation output must be reported in the task tracker frequently.
• Lead fixing stream for reconciliation findings resolution.
• Quantify the findings either loss or value added amounts and report it properly to local and group channel.
• Perform control testing on the new promos and propositions to sign go/no go through :-
- Products rating
- Services value granting
- Products expiry date or renewal date.
- Customers’ eligibility.
- Required reports.
- Any other elements defined in controls index.
• Prepare the reconciliation/reports changes according to market changes through MPM forum, which includes also the UAT scenarios thus approve, go to market.
• Maximize the daily controls automation using offline quality gates instead.
• Perform the required controls as per the index for the products in scope thus:-
- Report the competence status.
- Report the findings to the relevant stakeholders.
- Define the fix actions to the findings.
• Submit incident report for each finding to a pre-defined stakeholders, which must include :-
- Impacted revenue stream
- Impacted customer class
- Revenue loss assessment if any.
- Revenue loss prevention (using the group guide for extrapolation)
- Loss recovery if any.
• Align with business (decision support/ revenue accounting/reporting/customer insights/segments) with all material reporting issues.

Must have technical / professional qualifications:
• A finance/accounting/data management degree.
• Good knowledge of accounting principles.
• Excellent command of written & verbal English language.
• Excellent computer skills including mastering MS office.
