About this Role

 

We are seeking an experienced PMO Analyst to join the Vodafone UK Digital & IT Delivery team during a period of significant transformation. This role focuses on enabling successful project delivery by supporting planning, governance, and performance tracking across a diverse portfolio. The individual will work closely with Technology Delivery teams and senior stakeholders to ensure projects are structured, monitored, and delivered effectively, while embedding best practices across the Centre of Excellence.

What you’ll do

 

Collaborate with Value & Execution Leads and PMO Leads to support planning, execution, and monitoring of projects
Maintain and track project plans, timelines, milestones, and dependencies across portfolios
Monitor real-time project status, ensuring accurate reporting of risks, issues, and progress
Facilitate regular project- and programme-level reporting cycles for senior stakeholders
Support governance by ensuring adherence to PMO frameworks, methodologies, and standards
Contribute to financial tracking and alignment with governance and reporting requirements
Enable adoption of hybrid delivery approaches aligned with SAFe principles
Work closely with Capacity Management to optimise resource allocation and utilisation
Identify risks, trends, and improvement opportunities through data analysis
Deliver training sessions to support the adoption of PMO tools, processes, and transformation initiatives
Support continuous improvement of PMO practices within the Centre of Excellence

Who you are

 

Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a PMO or project analyst role within a varied portfolio environment
Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively across organisational levels
Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
Strong analytical and numerical capabilities, with attention to detail and data-driven thinking
Self-motivated and proactive, with a collaborative and solution-focused approach
Experience in financial reporting and tracking within project environments
Familiarity with project management methodologies, including Waterfall (desirable)
Awareness of SAFe principles and hybrid delivery approaches (desirable)
Advanced Excel skills for reporting and analysis
Knowledge of Power BI or automation tools (advantageous)
