About this Role

We are seeking a Radio Integration Engineer to support the delivery of radio network rollout, expansion, modernisation, and optimisation activities. This role is responsible for remote site integration across 2G, 3G, and 4G networks, ensuring high-quality implementation, network stability, and service continuity. The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to execute integrations, troubleshoot network issues, manage configurations, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives while maintaining compliance with operational processes and service level agreements.

What you’ll do

  • Review and validate radio implementation documentation, including RF data, utilisation reports, transmission low-level designs, licence files, and rollout documentation before execution.
  • Prepare deployment templates, scripts, and configuration files in accordance with agreed procedures and technical standards.
  • Perform remote integration and activation activities for radio network rollout, expansion, modernisation, and antenna change projects.
  • Execute configuration management activities while following change management processes, service level agreements, and approved methods of procedure. 
  • Troubleshoot network and site integration issues in collaboration with field teams, ensuring timely restoration and minimal network impact. 
  • Conduct testing, acceptance validation, and technical verification activities to ensure successful implementation and service quality. 
  • Monitor, investigate, and resolve network performance issues, OSS audit findings, KPI deviations, and radio alerts. 
  • Maintain accurate technical documentation, completion reports, status updates, and knowledge repositories.
  • Support operational stakeholders through technical guidance and reporting within a 24/7 shift-based environment.
  • Contribute to process improvement, innovation initiatives, knowledge sharing, and continuous enhancement of integration practices

Who you are

  • Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications Engineering or a related engineering discipline. 
  • At least one year of experience within the telecommunications industry. 
  • Knowledge of operating systems such as Windows and Unix, alongside proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. 
  • Strong understanding of remote site configuration and radio network integration activities.
  • Ability to analyse technical issues, perform troubleshooting, and support network performance improvements. 
  • Effective communication, reporting, and stakeholder management skills. 
  • Collaborative approach with the ability to share knowledge and contribute to team success.
  • Comfortable working in a dynamic environment and managing multiple priorities while maintaining quality standards. 
  • Demonstrates customer focus, accountability, adaptability, and commitment to delivering results. 
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining a positive and solution-focused approach.
