Role Purpose
Provide scrum master capabilities and services through facilitating and administering scrum ceremonies including daily Standups, release and sprint planning meetings, retrospectives, and review meetings and capture feedback, maintain the product backlog and support the product owner in developing it, and ensure that user stories are ready for the next sprint, coach and guiding the scrum team to perform at its best and how to get the most out of self-organization.
Key Accountabilities & Decision Ownership
- Facilitate the team for better creativity and improve the efficiency of the development team.
- Responsible for managing the scrum process with the coordination of scrum team in agile methodology.
- Helps product owner to make the product backlogs in good shape and make them ready for the next sprint.
- Organizes and facilitates the sprint planning meeting.
- Facilitate and administer Scrum ceremonies including Daily Standups, Release and Sprint Planning meetings, Retrospectives, and Review meetings and capture feedback
- Work as the administrator of the Scrum board, ensure that tasks are up to date
- Maintain the Product Backlog and support the Product Owner in developing it, and ensure that User Stories are ready for the next Sprint
- Communicate clearly to Product Owner around priorities and timelines
- Document progress and create relative charts/reports (Burn-Down, Burn-Up, … etc) to track the performance of the team and share with management and team members
- Help the Scrum team to identify and resolve problems, and remove impediments, whether internal or external to the team
- Coach and guiding the Scrum team to perform at its best and how to get the most out of self-organization
- Ensure team follows the values and practices of Scrum
- Facilitate team communication within the team and with different stakeholders
- Lead awareness/knowledge transfer sessions to assure Agile awareness across the team
Core Competencies, Knowledge, and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in technology
- Agile Experience
- Excellent organization and prioritization skills with demonstrable experience of the production of plans to describe stage, phase, dependency and milestones
- Good listener and people oriented
- Skilled at facilitating and leading teams.

Must have professional qualifications:
- Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering
- 6-9 Overall years of experience
- 2-4 years of experience as scrum master in Agile projects
- Scrum master certified (Scrum Alliance/ICAgile)
- Experience is projects/Deliveries Running
- Hands-on experience in playing the Scrum Master role using [Scrum/Kanban]
- At least 2 years’ working experience in mobile telecom development/support role
- Knowledge of other Agile methodologies and frameworks is a plus (FDD, XP, Scaling Agile, … etc)
- Familiarity with Agile delivery toolsets (JIRA, Jira Assistant, … etc)
- Fluent in English
