About this Role

We are seeking a skilled Senior Data Scientist to design and develop advanced analytical models that transform complex datasets into meaningful insights. This role supports local markets, partner markets, and corporate accounts by applying descriptive, predictive, and optimisation techniques to solve business challenges and inform decision‑making across various products, services, and customer segments.

What you’ll do

  • Build, test, and deploy analytics models using structured and unstructured data to address defined business use cases.
  • Conduct data preparation, cleansing, and optimisation, including SQL and NoSQL processing, to ensure high‑quality analytical outputs.
  • Apply descriptive and predictive modelling techniques to support strategic business decisions across markets and customer segments.
  • Collaborate with commercial teams to present insights and actionable recommendations derived from models and analytical results.
  • Contribute to defining customer‑facing analytics use cases and supporting product roadmap development.
  • Support the development of efficient analytics lifecycle processes that enable fast and cost‑effective delivery.
  • Participate in business requirements analysis and document specifications for information requests.

Who you are

  • Experienced in advanced analytics, including descriptive, predictive, and optimisation methods.
  • Comfortable working with complex, high‑volume datasets, ideally using Hadoop/Spark environments.
  • Skilled in SQL and databases such as Teradata, Oracle, and MySQL.
  • Knowledgeable in applying machine‑learning techniques to real‑world use cases.
  • Proficient with analytical tools such as Python, R, SAS, MATLAB, SPSS, and Teradata Warehouse Miner.
  • Holds a Bachelor’s, Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Applied Mathematics, or Statistics, with 3–5+ years of relevant experience.
  • Experienced in working within international, distributed, and agile teams.
  • An excellent communicator, able to explain complex concepts in simple language.
  • Comfortable coordinating across departments and running validation workshops with stakeholders.
  • Adept at troubleshooting, system analysis, and embracing innovative thinking.
