About this Role
What you’ll do
- Design, implement, and manage cloud-based infrastructure with a focus on Google Cloud Platform
- Develop, automate, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support efficient and reliable deployments
- Apply infrastructure as code practices using tools such as Terraform to automate environments
- Deploy and manage containerised applications using Docker and Kubernetes, leveraging tools such as Helm or ArgoCD
- Act as a subject matter resource, supporting stakeholders to ensure requirements are understood and delivered effectively
- Drive continuous improvement in deployment cycles, system reliability, and operational processes
- Develop and maintain scalable, sustainable services and applications using clean coding practices
Who you are
- Strong experience with DevOps tools and platforms including GitHub, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GCP, Kubernetes, and Docker
- Knowledge of infrastructure automation tools such as Terraform and Ansible
- Understanding of DevSecOps principles, IT service management processes, and system reliability practices
- Familiarity with networking concepts, databases, DNS, proxies, and security principles
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python and Bash for automation tasks
- Experience in monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus, Datadog, and Elasticsearch
- Background in managing CI/CD pipelines and optimising system performance and availability
- Experience with containerisation and orchestration technologies
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams
- Approximately 3+ years of relevant DevOps experience with a proven track record of delivery
