About this Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to design, build, and optimise modern cloud-native platforms and infrastructure. This role is ideal for a professional with strong expertise in AWS, Kubernetes, Infrastructure as Code, and CI/CD automation, who is passionate about platform reliability, observability, security, and scalable engineering practices. The successful candidate will contribute to resilient, automated environments that support digital products and services while driving operational excellence through modern DevOps methodologies.

What you’ll do

Design, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure within AWS environments.
Automate infrastructure provisioning and management using Terraform, with Terragrunt experience considered beneficial.
Build, optimise, and support Kubernetes-based platforms and containerised applications.
Implement and manage GitOps deployment practices using ArgoCD.Develop, maintain, and enhance CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.Administer Linux-based environments, ensuring stability, performance, and effective troubleshooting.
Apply cloud security best practices, including IAM, networking, and access management controls.
Enhance platform observability through monitoring, logging, tracing, and reliability engineering practices.
Work with tools such as Loki, Tempo, Prometheus, Grafana, and OpenTelemetry to improve operational insights and system performance.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support platform scalability, reliability, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Contribute to the adoption of modern engineering and automation practices across the technology landscape.

Who you are

Strong experience with AWS cloud platforms and infrastructure automation.
Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, containerised applications, and GitOps-based deployments using ArgoCD.
Solid expertise in Infrastructure as Code using Terraform; experience with Terragrunt is advantageous.
Proven experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions.
Strong Linux administration, troubleshooting, and systems management skills.
Good understanding of cloud security principles, IAM, networking, and access management.
Experience with observability, monitoring, logging, and platform reliability practices, including Loki, Tempo, Prometheus, Grafana, and OpenTelemetry.
Familiarity with Microsoft Azure is beneficial.
Exposure to Airflow or Data Engineering environments is advantageous.
Interest or experience in Enterprise AI or Generative AI platforms is considered a plus.
Strong collaboration, problem-solving, and continuous learning mindset.
