Roles and Responsibilities:

  1. To support delivery projects for Vodafone service and underlying. components in order to deliver in time and with high quality.
  2. Manage defect troubleshooting and resolution and liaise with the project ream for problem resolution.
  3. Devise Backup/Restore strategy and setup the necessary mechanisms for implementation.
  4. To define setup up adequate monitoring and probing according to KPI. definition as to measure service availability, performance and ensure the associated SLAs.
  5. Support for software rollout and deployment using the adequate deployment strategy.
  6. SPOC for PBI process including resolution, coordination and reporting 
  7. 2nd level support according to support model definition.
  8. 24/7 oncall support according to support model definition.

Must Have Skills:

  1. 2.5 - 5 Overall years of experience
  2. Excellent knowledge of AWS cloud, Unix/Linux, Oracle, Apache, Tomcat, Basic Java understanding, Knowledge of Change Control Systems (GIT, SVN) .
  3. Deep Knowledge of scripting (Shell, Python, bash etc), Splunk, Networking, Snooping. Knowledge, SQL and PL/SQL  or NoSQL .
  4. Knowledge of regular expression's and SSL setup.
  5. API Integraton incl tools like SOAPUI, Postman, etc.. 
  6. Monitoring and Logging, Troubleshooting and Debugging.
  7. API Management, Knowledge on Enterprise Service Bus, Data Transformation ability. 
  8. Splunk.
  9. ITIL knowledge required (Especially Incident & Problem Mgmt, Deployment).
  10. Very Good communication, skills and Team Player.
  11. Experience in working with any ticketing tool like Remedy and configuration.

Good to Have Skills:

  1. Experience with cross cultural work environment,
  2. Self-Starter , quick learner and result oriented person,
  3. Experience working with cross cultural work teams, with Onsite / Offshore coordination,
  4. Process Improvement and Innovation skills,
  5. Knowledge of Software Rollout across various environments.
