About this Role

We are seeking a seasoned Project Delivery Lead with extensive experience in telecom and technology project management. This role involves leading large-scale, cross-functional projects from initiation to early life support, ensuring delivery within budget, on time, and to the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate will bring a strong technical background in radio networks, system integration, and IT, along with proven international experience working with virtual teams across diverse geographies.

What you’ll do

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of large and complex telecom and technology projects, ensuring stakeholder satisfaction.
  • Manage all project phases including requirements gathering, planning, execution, reporting, and transition to operations.
  • Oversee budget control, timelines, and quality assurance throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with Commercial, Procurement, Technology, Operations, and Service Management teams to ensure seamless delivery.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, schedules, cost estimates, risk and issue logs.
  • Create contingency plans for critical paths and establish robust communication matrices.
  • Drive governance and manage stakeholder expectations effectively.
  • Monitor progress and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Manage resource requirements and ensure centralised, up-to-date project data using collaboration tools.
  • Produce essential project documentation including RACI matrices, Project Initiation Documents (PID), risk registers, issue logs, and lessons learned.

Who you are

  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in project management within telecommunications and network delivery.
  • Strong technical expertise in IT, mobile and fixed network technologies, including service design and rollout.
  • Demonstrated success in delivering telecom/network projects across multiple countries and cultures.
  • Familiarity with ITIL service management principles.
  • Holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electronic or Telecommunications Engineering.
  • Certified in Project Management methodologies (e.g. PMP, PRINCE2 Practitioner).
  • ITIL v3/v4 certification is advantageous.
