What you’ll do

A senior leadership role with end‑to‑end accountability for delivering complex, high‑value service transition programmes, with a strong emphasis on CARE-related demand (catalogue services and next‑generation contracted engagements). The role ensures robust governance, stakeholder alignment, and commercially effective delivery, while leading a Practice team and improving transition methodologies.
Own and deliver all transition activity across an assigned portfolio, focused on CARE demand
Lead, manage, and develop a dedicated Practice within Service Transition & Mobilisation
Provide SME input to VOIS and Group stakeholders on transition strategy and planning
Enforce consistent governance, controls, and decision standardsDeliver programmes to scope, budget, timeline, and quality
Chair/influence steering committees and governance forumsAssess and report programme health transparentlyProactively manage risks, dependencies, and interdependencies
Drive continuous improvement of transition methodologies and ways of working

Who you are

End‑to‑end service transition delivery (mobilisation → transition → BAU)
Portfolio & programme governance (stage gates, risk, dependencies, financial controls)
Programme & change management in large, multi‑stakeholder organisations
Solid grasp of transition/delivery methodologiesExperience in audit‑controlled / regulated settings
Strong commercial and financial acumen
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement
Relevant certifications (e.g., MSP, PRINCE2 Practitioner, PMP, Agile)
Proven people leadership; builds high‑performing teams
Delivery of complex, cross‑functional programmes
Confident with senior stakeholders and escalations
Strong influencing in matrixed organisations
Operates well in ambiguous, regulated environments
Strategic mindset with attention to detail and cross‑cultural collaboration
