About this Role
We are seeking a data-driven and commercially astute individual to join our Commercial Operations – Sales Ops team. This role is pivotal in enabling sales performance through advanced reporting, analytics, and forecasting. The individual will collaborate closely with VGE Sales, Finance, and Partner OpCo stakeholders to optimise sales efficiency, support commission planning, and drive strategic decision-making. The role is based in Cairo, Egypt.
What you’ll do
- Develop and manage reporting solutions, dashboards, and analytics to support top management and sales teams.
- Analyse pipeline quality, team performance, forecasting, and target setting.
- Support commission governance and alignment with corporate strategy.
- Maintain data consistency across systems through account allocation and hierarchy updates.
- Design and deliver performance dashboards using tools like QlikView, QlikSense, and Power BI.
- Provide ad-hoc analysis and insights to facilitate business decisions.
- Drive automation and standardisation of reporting processes.
- Collaborate across departments to promote actionable insights and improve business understanding.
- Lead planning and performance management initiatives, including territory assignments and strategic projects.
Who you are
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, IT, or Business Administration.
- 5 years of experience in financial analysis, preferably in telecom or tech sectors.
- Strong understanding of sales processes and financial metrics.
- Advanced skills in MS Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and SQL.
- Experience with data warehouses, BI tools, and global database management.
- High attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication, relationship-building, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and influence stakeholders.
