About this Role

We are seeking a skilled Senior Test Engineer to design, develop, and execute manual and automated tests across software, cloud, and GenAI environments. The individual will ensure quality across traditional systems, cloud-native platforms, and AI-driven solutions through comprehensive test coverage, defect governance, and continuous improvement. This role is ideal for a technically strong tester experienced in automation, cloud technologies, and modern quality engineering practices.

What you’ll do

  • Validate solutions against user stories, technical requirements, and AI acceptance criteria, covering both functional and non-functional needs.
  • Execute and enhance automated test suites using modern frameworks and tools including Selenium, Cypress, Cucumber, Jenkins, Autify, Postman and related technologies.
  • Diagnose test failures, conduct root cause analysis, and collaborate with software, data, and platform engineering teams to implement corrective actions.
  • Track and report quality metrics such as defect density, leakage, early-life incidents, and AI performance indicators.
  • Design and execute SIT, system testing, acceptance testing, and AI validation scenarios across cloud-native and traditional environments in line with TMMi L3 standards.
  • Participate in testing strategies for cloud and GenAI components and contribute to quality strategy and release readiness.
  • Support continuous improvement through knowledge sharing, community participation, and collaborative testing practices.

Who you are

  • A testing professional with 3–5 years’ experience in software testing and a strong background in automation.
  • ISTQB certified, with advanced hands-on capabilities in Python and experience in JavaScript or Java.
  • Proficient in automated testing frameworks such as Pytest, Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, and API testing tools.
  • Experienced with Google Cloud Platform, Git, GitHub, and CI/CD integrations.
  • Skilled in Web Services testing (REST, SOAP), SQL/database validation, and risk-based test design.
  • Comfortable working across Telecom, BI, Mobile, SharePoint, Performance, Usability, Cloud, or GenAI platforms.
  • Proactive in continuous learning and staying up to date with emerging testing and AI validation practices.
