About this Role
We are seeking a Senior Testing Engineer to apply advanced testing expertise in validating complex telecom systems and ensuring their reliability. This role involves designing detailed test plans, executing comprehensive test cycles, and collaborating with stakeholders to analyse requirements. The individual will manage exploratory testing, identify critical defects, and maintain accurate documentation throughout the testing lifecycle. Proficiency in test management tools such as Jira, Zephyr, Xray, ALM, and Confluence is essential.
What you’ll do
- Develop and execute detailed test plans aligned with project strategies.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure test approaches meet technical and business expectations.
- Perform functional and exploratory testing across integrated telecom platforms.Analyse test outcomes, investigate discrepancies, and document findings for defect resolution.
- Identify process gaps and propose improvements to testing methodologies.
- Monitor testing KPIs and ensure timely delivery within scope.
- Facilitate knowledge sharing and support onboarding of new team members.
Who you are
- Strong understanding of software testing principles, particularly in telecom BSS domains (billing, CRM, order management).
- Hands-on experience with web-based applications and telecom-specific solutions.
- Proficient in SQL and database testing, including data integrity and backend validation.
- Skilled in API testing and integration flows across telecom services.Experienced in using Jira, Zephyr, Xray, ALM, and Confluence for test management and defect tracking.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to assess complex systems.Clear communicator with strong collaboration skills.
