Role Purpose:

•    The purpose of a ServiceNow Architect is to lead the architectural design and implementation of ServiceNow solutions. The Architect collaborates with stakeholders to understand business needs and defines the technical strategy, roadmap, and solution architecture to meet those needs. 
•    They have a deep understanding of ServiceNow capabilities and industry best practices, enabling them to design scalable, robust, and efficient solutions. 
•    The Architect ensures adherence to architectural principles, standards, and governance processes, and provides guidance to development teams to ensure the successful delivery of ServiceNow projects. They also evaluate new ServiceNow features and technologies and make recommendations on their adoption to enhance the organization's ServiceNow ecosystem.
 

Key accountabilities and decision ownership:

•    Implement ServiceNow technology specific best practices and implementation standards, research and evaluate alternative solutions and recommend the most efficient and cost-effective solutions.
•    Translate requirements into functional and technical requirements and write technical design documents.
•    Manage ServiceNow cloning and upgrades activities and propose data model, design changes to processes and products.
•    Provide excellent customer experience, leadership, constructive communication, problem solving and decision-making skills and provide expertise on handling technical questions, especially related to ServiceNow platform.
•    Follow up team activities and facilitate major deliveries, work closely with 

Core competencies, knowledge and experience :

•    Proven experience with JavaScript, AngularJS, and HTML, REST/SOAP APIs.  
•    Proven experience with relational databases (such as: MySQL or Oracle).
•    Proven experience with agile software development environment (Scrum/Kanban).
•    Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with both technical and non-technical details.
•    TOGAF certificate is a plus.
•    Proficiency with English: writing, reading, and listening.

Must have technical / professional qualifications:

•     Bachelor/master’s degree in an IT-related field.
•    +6 years of experience in software development.
•    3+ years of hands-on experience in ServiceNow different modules (such as: Incident, Problem, Service Catalog, Request, CMDB).
•    ServiceNow CSA certificate is a must.
