About this Role
We are seeking a Solutions Architect to design, optimise, and govern end‑to‑end monitoring and service management solutions across complex IT and network environments. This role plays a critical part in translating business service requirements into high‑quality technical designs, ensuring robust service modelling, data quality, and operational excellence across tools and platforms.
What you will do
Deliver high‑level and low‑level design documentation for monitoring solutions supporting multiple business services.
Act as a subject matter expert for support, project, demand, and integrator teams to ensure monitoring requirements are clearly understood and consistently delivered.
Design, configure, optimise, and administer IT and network service management tools such as Cribl and Dynatrace.
Build and optimise business services, business processes, and IT service models with strong data quality controls.
Govern data accuracy and the quality of deliverables produced by suppliers and engineering teams.
Drive continuous improvement across day‑to‑day operations and engineering activities within tools and automation teams.
Apply ITIL practices across incident, change, capacity, and performance management disciplines.
Who you are
An experienced solutions design professional with 6+ years of overall experience, including 3+ years in solutions architecture, business service modelling, or data quality control.
Degree‑qualified in Computer Science, Telecommunications Engineering, or a related discipline.
Technically proficient across UNIX and Windows operating systems, including Solaris, HP‑UX, Linux, and Microsoft Windows Server.
Knowledgeable in database technologies such as Oracle, MySQL, SQL Server, or similar platforms.
Comfortable working with network and management protocols including SNMP, HTTP, SOAP, IPv4, and IPv6.
Skilled in development and scripting languages such as Java, JavaScript, SQL, XML, JDBC/ODBC, shell scripting, and related technologies.
Familiar with software development methodologies, object‑oriented programming, test‑driven development, and web service test automation.
A clear communicator with strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to quickly adopt new technologies.
