About this role
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in implementing and maintaining cloud infrastructure and DevOps processes. This role is ideal for individuals with a strong background in Linux administration, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud-native technologies such as Kubernetes, Docker, and AWS. The position also requires hands-on experience with observability tools and a proactive approach to incident and release management.
What you’ll do
- Maintain platform stability using observability tools such as Grafana, OpenTelemetry, and CloudWatch.
- Create actionable dashboards and alerts to proactively address system issues.
- Monitor system health and performance through robust logging and health checks.
- Ensure smooth release management and uphold operational excellence.
- Administer and secure Linux-based systems, including patching and performance tuning.
- Conduct incident response and root cause analysis for production issues.
- Implement and maintain GitOps practices using ArgoCD.
- Automate workflows using Jenkins and GitHub Actions.
- Work with Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm to manage containerised applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support microservices architecture and service mesh concepts.
Who you are
- Holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Brings at least 3 years of relevant experience in DevOps or cloud infrastructure roles.
- Proficient in CI/CD processes and release management.
- Expert with monitoring ,health checks ,and logging
- Experienced in incident and problem management.
- Skilled in scripting languages such as Python and Bash.
- Strong communicator with excellent collaboration and troubleshooting skills.
- Familiar with AWS services and cloud architecture.
- Demonstrates a solid understanding of microservices and observability practices.
