About this Role

We are seeking a Senior Test Engineer to design, develop, and execute high‑quality testing solutions that ensure software and system reliability across digital delivery initiatives. This role plays a key part in validating solutions against functional and technical requirements, contributing to continuous quality improvement, and supporting automated testing practices within a collaborative engineering environment.

What you’ll do

  • Design, execute, and maintain test cases aligned with user stories and technical acceptance criteria
  • Validate solutions using both manual and automated testing approaches
  • Identify, record, track, and monitor defects throughout the testing lifecycle
  • Debug test issues and collaborate closely with software engineering teams to support resolution
  • Track and report quality assurance metrics such as defect density and early‑life incidents
  • Design and execute system integration and acceptance tests
  • Apply foundational automation testing practices using tools such as Selenium and Appium

Who you are

  • You bring 3–7 years of experience in software testing within structured delivery environments
  • You demonstrate strong knowledge of test management tools, including HP ALM
  • You are certified at ISTQB Foundation level
  • You have hands‑on exposure to automation testing frameworks and low‑code development concepts
  • You communicate effectively and collaborate confidently with technical and non‑technical stakeholders
  • You show continuous curiosity and commitment to learning and development
  • You are fluent in English and professionally proficient in German (minimum B2 level)
