About this Role

 

We are seeking a highly experienced Programme Delivery Lead to oversee the end-to-end management of complex, large-scale programmes and projects within the UK IT & Digital delivery portfolio. This role offers the autonomy to embed lean governance models while ensuring delivery excellence across multiple cross-functional initiatives. The individual will be responsible for driving transformation, managing senior stakeholders, and ensuring alignment with business objectives through effective planning, financial oversight, and transparent communication.

What you will do

 

Lead the delivery and governance of multiple high-impact programmes and projects.
Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, integrating sprint, scrum, testing, integration, and release activities.
Manage RAID (risks, assumptions, issues, dependencies) and ensure milestone adherence.
Embed lean governance principles that prioritise ownership, responsiveness, and transparency.
Oversee project finances, including Capex/Opex, and adjust forecasts based on delivery trends.
Maintain open and effective communication with senior business stakeholders to ensure alignment on time, cost, scope, and quality.
Provide data-driven insights into project progress, effort, and cost burn-down.
Govern the use of Azure DevOps for planning, dashboards, and roadmaps.
Collaborate with Release Managers to align project direction and priorities with stakeholder value.

Who you are

 

An Egyptian national residing in Egypt.
Over 7 years of experience in end-to-end delivery of complex ICT programmes and projects.
Certified in PMP or Prince2 Practitioner; MBA preferred.
Strong understanding of software development and application lifecycle.
Proven experience in technical transformation and managing cross-cultural teams.
Demonstrated leadership in matrix environments, with the ability to motivate and develop teams.
Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and Project, with strong data visualisation and presentation skills.
