About this Role

 

We are seeking a Technical Delivery Lead to drive the end-to-end delivery of complex, high-impact projects within the UK IT portfolio. This role focuses on shaping, mobilising, and delivering multiple initiatives across cross-functional teams, systems, and external partners, ensuring outcomes are achieved on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards, while aligning with Vodafone’s governance frameworks.

What you’ll do

 

Lead the delivery of one or more complex projects within an assigned portfolio, ensuring full lifecycle accountability from business case through to operational handover
Build, lead, and support cross-functional project teams, creating clarity of objectives and fostering a collaborative, high-performing environment
Define and communicate the programme vision and desired future state, aligning stakeholders to shared outcomes
Develop detailed project and programme plans, including resource forecasting, dependencies, and critical path management
Prepare cost estimates and manage financial performance, including capitalisation and budget tracking
Integrate all workstreams into a unified delivery plan and ensure alignment across technical and business activities
Monitor and control project performance, embedding measurable outcomes and success criteria
Establish and manage stakeholder communication plans across senior internal and external stakeholders
Manage supply and demand of resources across the project lifecycle, including people, financials, and technology
Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships, ensuring alignment and effective collaboration throughout delivery
Oversee governance compliance and ensure adherence to Vodafone delivery methodologies
Collaborate with system integrators and third-party partners to deliver programme objectives

Who you are

 

Egyptian national residing in Egypt
Extensive experience (typically over 5 years) delivering complex, end-to-end projects within ICT or technology environments
Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and technical transformation delivery
Experience working within telecommunications or network environments
Proven ability to manage multiple projects of varying scale and complexity simultaneously
Skilled in stakeholder engagement and influencing across all organisational levels
Experience managing cross-cultural and matrix teams
Strong financial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, and understanding of profit and loss
Recognised project management certification (PRINCE2 Practitioner or PMP)
Excellent communication, organisation, and collaboration skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and Project
Ability to quickly acquire and apply new technical knowledge
