About this Role

We are seeking a highly motivated Technical Product Owner & Scrum Master to support products and agile delivery initiatives serving the German market. This role combines product ownership, agile delivery leadership, and technical collaboration to ensure business requirements are translated into high-quality, development-ready solutions. The successful candidate will act as the key link between business stakeholders and engineering teams, driving backlog management, delivery execution, stakeholder alignment, and continuous improvement. The role is particularly suited to individuals with a strong understanding of AI technologies, Generative AI, software development practices, and Agile ways of working.

What you’ll do

Own and manage the product backlog, ensuring alignment with business objectives, delivery commitments, and team readiness.
Partner with business Product Owners and stakeholders to understand, clarify, refine, and translate requirements into clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and development-ready work items.
Serve as the primary connection between stakeholders and development teams, ensuring shared understanding and successful delivery of requirements.
Collaborate closely with developers on a day-to-day basis to support requirement clarification and implementation.
Facilitate Agile ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, Retrospectives, and Backlog Refinement sessions.
Promote Agile best practices while maintaining a pragmatic, delivery-focused mindset.Identify and remove delivery impediments, manage dependencies, and proactively address risks.Monitor sprint progress and communicate delivery status, priorities, risks, and outcomes to stakeholders.
Foster collaboration, transparency, accountability, and continuous improvement across business and technical teams.
Support AI-related product discussions, capability planning, and delivery activities by applying knowledge of emerging AI technologies and trends.
Work effectively with distributed and international teams to achieve delivery objectives.

Who you are

  • Proven experience as a Technical Product Owner, Scrum Master, or a similar Agile delivery professional.
  • Strong knowledge of AI technologies, Generative AI, and AI-enabled products, with the ability to apply these concepts within product delivery.
  • Solid understanding of software development principles, system integrations, APIs, and modern engineering practices.
  • Hands-on experience managing product backlogs and converting business requirements into actionable delivery plans.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and workshop facilitation skills.
  • Experience working collaboratively with software development teams in Agile environments.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with the confidence to facilitate decision-making in fast-paced settings.
  • Ability to balance business priorities, technical considerations, and delivery constraints effectively.
Nice to have:
  • Experience supporting German stakeholders, customers, or Product Owners.
  • German language proficiency.
  • Scrum and/or Product Owner certifications such as PSM, CSM, PSPO, CSPO, or equivalent.
  • Experience working with geographically distributed or global teams.
