Role Purpose

Senior Automation Test Engineers will be required to deliver high quality products to the market in an efficient and productive way, utilizing all the tools at their disposal including test automation tools; perform and execute testing services as per the agreed strategy and test plan through innovative and efficient practices.

Roles and Responsibilities:

•    Analyze customer business requirements including identifying any gaps or missing knowledge needed to perform testing activities.
•    Perform automation feasibility analysis and analyze users' need to find the right automation framework/tool to fulfill their requirements.
•    Perform proof of concepts on automation solutions.
•    Develop and maintain automation frameworks on multiple platforms.
•    Provide technical support and training activities to different teams to help them perform automation testing, preparation, creation, and execution.
•    Execute automated tests and manage the resulting defect log through the point of defect fix validation.
•    Create and maintain integrations with CICD pipelines and resource management.
•    Analyze and verify the best approach for automation.
•    Select, design, and develop the best suitable automation framework and apply the latest techniques in test automation.
•    Communicate with vendors for support purposes.
•    Code quality assurance by performing testing activities Core competencies, knowledge, and experience.
 

Roles and Responsibilities:

•    Keeping up to date with industry trends and developments.
•    Excellent technical, diagnostic, and troubleshooting skills.
•    Continuous communication of work progress through attendance of daily & weekly meetings with internal and external stakeholders.
•    Own knowledge transfer to new members.
•    Train and coach new team members on specific tools and processes.
•    Mentor their colleagues whenever required.
•    Supports knowledge management and collaboration through participation in testing discussions, communities and improving testing collateral through lessons learned.
•    Participate in the test plan preparation.
•    Participate in the process improvement.
•    Raise flags proactively for any issue that can be impact the project.
•    May lead small team.
 

Core Knowledge and qualifications:

•    Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business Informatics, or any related technical field.
•    2+ years test automation hands on experience.
•    Excellent command of English language is a must.
•    Very good understanding of theories and procedures about Software Testing
•    Experience with backend and frontend testing.
•    Experience with testing Web APIs.
•    Excellent Knowledge on Java scripting knowledge is a must.
•    Good Knowledge on SQL is a must.
•    Excellent knowledge in ISTQB foundation in software testing is a must.
•    ISTQB Foundation Level Certificate in Software Testing is a must.•    Good knowledge in Agile methodologies.
•    Working experience in dealing with test management tools like JIRA, ALM (Quality Center).
•    Working experience with Mobile and web-based applications technology.
•    High sense of ownership and responsibility.
•    Ability to identify and explore new testing frameworks.
•    Ability to excel in a cross functional team environment.
•    Good knowledge in Agile methodologies.
•    Working experience in dealing with test management tools like JIRA, ALM (Quality Center).
•    Working experience with Mobile and web-based applications technology.
•    High sense of ownership and responsibility.
•    Ability to identify and explore new testing frameworks.
•    Ability to excel in a cross functional team environment.
