Legal Counsel (m/f/d) for Vantage Towers

Your contribution:
- You provide independent legal support and strategic advice to business units and to Vantage Towers’ management in Germany in legal matters within your area of responsibility, with an emphasis on public construction law
- You identify and resolve legal obstacles in all processes relevant to the realisation of sites with emphasis on public construction and public administrative law (e.g. acquisition of sites, permit or building procedures)
- You support litigation if necessary (incl. appeals against rejection of building applications)
- You negotiate complex contracts (including framework agreements) for new partnerships, renewals and the offering of in-life products and services
- You engage in a supporting role in Vantage Towers’ projects, by providing legal and strategic advice in the interest of Vantage Towers and by safeguarding Vantage Towers' rights and interests.
- You represent Vantage Towers at external meetings, functions and events either on your own or accompanying Vantage Towers’ Head of Legal Germany or executives
- You coordinate with external law firms, economic consultants and align with relevant trade associations, lead on digitalisation projects or you have an affinity for digitalisation
What makes you stand out:
- German Law degree (first and second state exam) with significant experience gained in-house and/or at a leading law firm
- Expert knowledge of public construction and administration law, with experience in at least some of the following areas: private construction law, contract law, telecommunications law and regulation.
- Extensive and successful breadth and depth of experience of dealing with stakeholders in public administration
- Sound commercial understanding and proven ability to impact and convince in a variety of business settings
- Expert knowledge of contract and commercial law
- Strong negotiating skills vis-a-vis (potential) customers, and external organisations
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal in English and German, with high immediate impact and capacity to synthesise complex issues
