Your Responsibilities

  • Category Strategy & Spend Management: You operationally manage all Commercial & Services spend across markets, developing standardized strategies and executing long-tail strategies for supplier consolidation.

  • Sourcing & Tenders: You lead local tenders, sourcing activities, and negotiations while supporting high-value Group-level negotiations to drive efficiency and cost savings.

  • Supplier Relationship Management: You build strong relationships with strategic suppliers, driving performance reviews, capability expansion, innovation, and continuous improvement.

  • Stakeholder Advisory: You engage regularly with business stakeholders as a trusted advisor, understanding procurement requirements, balancing interests, and delivering on business goals.

  • Process Excellence & KPIs: You manage key KPIs—such as savings and contract coverage—while driving process improvements, governance, automation, and AI adoption.

 

 

Your Profile

  • Educational Background: Successful university degree in business management, economics, marketing, engineering, or a related field.

  • Professional Experience: Extensive professional experience in supply chain management with solid experience heading a material category within an international environment.

  • Technical Skills: Deep understanding of SCM procedures, category strategies, stakeholder mapping, and proficiency in Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint).

  • Soft Skills: Strong negotiation psychology, networker mindset, fact-based decision-making, task prioritization, and resilience under pressure.

  • Language Proficiency: Advanced negotiation-level language skills in both English and German (C1 level CEFR).
