Your contribution:

  • Steering of employees within the department for an optimal delivery of department’s tasks and responsibilities and by this indirectly fulfilling the tasks and responsibilities of the whole FP&A business area and Finance function of the entire European TowerCo at group level
  • Preparing the Head of FP&A / CFO for Shareholder and Board Meetings on various reporting topics & advising the Head of FP&A on recent developments with suggestions of adequate (counter) measures
  • Create transparency for the management (incl. CFO and Heads of other areas) via performance analyses, KPI reporting and ensuring a high-quality, consistent, and timely results reporting and analysis (Management Reporting)
  • Review & challenge all reported financials within the local markets, ensuring high quality decision making and deriving strategic and tactical optimization measures
  • Responsible for ensuring a high-quality month-end-closure review on management level (up to CFO) of the European TowerCo as well as the Local TowerCos incl. creation, consolidation and further development of ongoing performance presentations and reporting
  • End-to-end responsibility for planning, budgeting and forecasting both process- and content-wise across the whole P&L & Cashflow & Financial as well as Non-Financial KPI’s
  • Year end steering, target setting, performance management, bonus computations
  • Consolidation and reporting of Local TowerCo’s results to Shareholders
  • Support in recurring business activities for other departments like M&A, AGM, FinOps, IT / financials Systems Development
  • Agreement of concepts and measures with own employees

 

What makes you stand out:

  • At least 10 years of professional experience, including at least 3 years of leadership experience
  • At least an MSc Degree in the area of Finance, Economics and related areas
  • Strong knowledge in Management Reporting, Planning, Budgeting and Forecasting, Controlling and Accounting, including good knowledge of the systems being used (e.g. SAP)
  • Confident handling of MS Office, especially Excel and Powerpoint
  • Good understanding of products and business processes in telecommunications industry
  • Confident presentation skills
  • Fluent in English (at least B2)
  • Agility and flexibility to adapt to change and develop solutions
