In your role as Senior Legal Counsel, you are much more than a legal expert; you act as a strategic business partner for our senior management. You will independently manage challenging projects that are of central importance to our corporate success and regulatory positioning. In doing so, you will directly advise senior management for the German market and TopCo (Group). 

 

Your contribution: 

  • You act as a trusted legal advisor to Senior Management and TopCo stakeholders, providing actionable guidance on strategic projects within your area of responsibility

  • You independently manage high-profile arbitration proceedings and regulatory investigations and act as the central point of contact for external law firms and authorities

  • You manage the negotiation of complex framework contracts with major Mobile Network Operators to protect our legal interests and strenghten partnerships

  • You coordinate legal strategies with the Finance, Operations and Real Estate teams and are responsible for the efficient management of external legal advisors

  • You drive the digital transformation of the Legal Department by implementing AI-driven tools and CLM systems for data-based decision-making

  • You support day-to-day business in all legal matters and help to achieve the company's goals

 

What makes you stand out:

  • Fully qualified lawyer who has successfully completed the first and second German state examinations; optional: doctorate and/or Master of Laws (LL.M.)

  • At least 5 years of professional experience in an international law firm or an internal legal department

  • Proven experience in independently managing complex legal projects, such as arbitrations proceedings or important framework agreements

  • In-depth expertise in litigation, arbitration, antitrust, or commercial law, ideally in the telecommunications sector

  • Confident manner and the ability to prepare complex legal issues into decision-ready briefings for C-level management

  • Fluent German (C1) and excellent English (C1) skills, both written and spoken
