Your Responsibilities:

 

  • Procurement & Sourcing Support: You support the team in operational and strategic procurement processes, the preparation and execution of tenders, and negotiations.
  • Market & Supplier Analyses: You independently conduct market, trend, and supplier analyses and prepare simple business cases and financial calculations to support decision-making.
  • Process Optimization & AI Solutions: You actively contribute to the continuous optimization of procurement processes and assist in identifying and implementing automation and AI solutions.
  • Systems & Procurement Tools: You quickly familiarize yourself with existing procurement tools and systems, supporting their maintenance and data quality optimization.
  • Collaboration & Learning Environment: You learn from experienced colleagues, work closely with cross-functional teams such as Marketing, HR, Finance, and IT, and gain broad insights into various departments.

 

Your Profile:

 

  • Education: (Successfully) completed degree in Business Administration, Business Informatics, or a comparable field with a focus on business and technology.
  • Experience & Practice: Initial practical experience through internships or working student positions in Supply Chain / Procurement is an advantage, but not strictly mandatory.
  • Technical Skills & Interests: Strong interest in procurement topics, modern tools, processes, digital innovations, and AI applications; fundamental understanding of business connections and data.
  • Soft Skills: Down-to-earth and highly motivated personality with a strong willingness to learn, high initiative, and commitment (e.g., demonstrated through personal projects or extracurricular activities during your studies). You enjoy delving into new topics and proactively seek pragmatic solutions.
  • Languages: Very good written and spoken German and English skills for successful collaboration in a dynamic environment.

 

At Vantage Towers, we operate in 8 different European countries. This role will be based in Düsseldorf.
