What you’ll do

Role purpose:

Implementation and administration of Public & Government sales policies and programs within guideline and established best practices and market standards.

Key accountabilities and decision ownership 
•Enable and support Public Sector – Account Managers in achieving the VBU objective by being Government partner of Choice by providing total solutions to Government Sector
•Public Sector Sales Strategy: Develop and execute all strategic project within central government, Government Agencies, Ministries to ensure VB are Target revenue are met
•Account Farming & Hunting: Identify new project opportunities while managing existing government accounts to increase share of wallet from the Government base
•Tender & Proposal Management: Provide end to end support to Key Account Manager across regional during Tender process including preparation & submission
•Customer Relation Management: Serve as central point of contact for Key Government stakeholders, strengthening relationship both internal and external stakeholders for all governments strategic events.
•Solution Selling:  Propose comprehensive solutions (End to End) to support and solve complex public sector needs

Core competencies, knowledge and experience
•Relationship Management:  Strong ability to network effectively with senior government officials
•Result Driven:  Strong focus on exceeding target revenue and growth target
•Communication: Excellent negotiations & presentation skills
•Technical Know-how: Government Digitization agenda
•Competition: Ability to anticipate customer competitor and market dynamics.

Must have technical / professional qualifications: 
•Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Economic, Marketing or its equivalent
•5+ Years experience industry or function experience Sales/Relations Management in Public/Government in Telecom
•Strong Sales skills and business acumen
•Telecommunications experience would be advantageous
•Public Sales, customer service experience. Proven expertise in navigating public sector purchasing processes and tenders, strong negotiation skills would be advantageous
