Role purpose
Insights & Reporting Analyst supports the Commercial Business Unit (CBU) on strategic KPIs tracking, management Insights, business planning and reporting by collecting and analysing a wide and varied range of data in order come up with data-informed actions on various business initiatives. The candidate plays a big role in initiative launches, results tracking and reporting of achievements and/or diversions to the intended results.
Key accountabilities and decision ownership 
•    Market and Customers Insights 
o    Business unit market intelligence (MI), competitor intelligence (CI) and business intelligence (BI) focal point. 
o    Engage all stakeholders across business to collect, track and monitor various activities happening in the market. Share relevant insights to leadership for strategic deliberation as soon as possible.
•    Reporting  
o    Timely and accurately preparation and presentation of input to Consumer Business Unit (CBU) reviews
o    Handle all insight and reporting projects, present results/findings before deadlines in collaboration with relevant stakeholders. 
o    Perform KPIs reconciliations with finance and any other department using similar KPIs.
•    Cross-functional Support
o    Collaborate with CBU budgeting team in planning and allocating sales KPI targets. 
o    Provide insight and reporting support to regional teams.
o    Engage Head of Regions and Territory Managers in the various projects being undertaken in their respective market areas
o    Provide qualitative and quantitative analysis and insight to guide regions on tactical and strategic decisions.

Core competencies, knowledge and experience 
•    Strong analytical skills with ability to integrate various details into a big picture view.
•    Must be pro-active with ability to multi-task and work under pressure.
•    Good communication skills (oral and written) with ability to influence with impact, use clear and compelling messages.
•    Flexible and innovation hungry embracing change positively
•    Right attitude and Passion for the role: Exhibit enthusiasm and a can-do attitude about work and deliverables 
Technical/professional qualifications: 
•    University Degree in Business or Science studies
•    At least 3 years relevant experience preferably in leadership reporting
•    Fluent in English and grammatical conversant
•    Data analysis skills, data driven insights generation and implementation of fact-based reusable analytics skills.
Key performance indicators:
•    Proactively advise and support the business in decision making and provide insightful information timely.  
•    Formulation of realistic & reasoning to support commercial decisions. 
•    Preparation of reports and ex-post analysis for projects and advice accordingly timely. 
•    Monitor and share accurate KPIs reports for key commercial KPIs and advice the management.
