What you’ll do

 

  • Step into a high-impact role at the heart of Vodafone’s global finance transformation.
  • As part of the Accounting Centre of Excellence within Lean Corporate Services, you’ll be a key driver of strategic accounting governance and innovation across Vodafone Group and its local markets.
  • You’ll lead the evolution of our global Record to Report (RTR) frameworks, ensuring consistency, transparency, and compliance in financial reporting.
  • Your work will span across major transformation programmes, where you’ll provide expert accounting insight, shape operating models, and influence decision-making at the highest levels.
  • You’ll collaborate with senior stakeholders, support local Chief Accountants, and play a pivotal role in aligning accounting policies and practices across the organisation.

Who we are looking for

 

  • A Chartered Accountant (or equivalent) with over 10 years of finance experience, including at least 4 years within Vodafone
  • Deep technical knowledge of financial accounting and operational finance processes
  • Proven success in leading major finance transformation projects
  • Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills in complex, fast-paced environments
  • Excellent communication and business partnering abilities, with a customer-first mindset
  • Experience with agile methodologies and EVO tools
  • A collaborative, analytical thinker with a passion for continuous improvement
  • Familiarity with Vodafone’s strategic initiatives such as RISE, SPARK, and CEDAR is a plus
  • S15/S16 expertise and additional language skills are desirable
