What you’ll do

 

With us, you can shape strategic partnerships and deliver exceptional commercial outcomes.

  • As a Commercial Manager (In-Life), you’ll take full ownership of the commercial relationship with some of Vodafone Business Unit’s largest strategic accounts. You’ll ensure every contractual obligation is met while identifying opportunities to deliver incremental value for both our customers and Vodafone. Acting as a trusted strategic advisor, you’ll provide executive briefings on account performance, share recommendations to grow value, and position Vodafone ahead of the competition.
  • You’ll manage senior stakeholders, including C-level executives, during escalations and negotiations, presenting clear options and cost analyses. Collaboration will be key—you’ll work closely with Sales, Legal, Solutions, and OpCos to maximize profitability and support contract renewals or strategic acquisitions. Leading a team of offshore commercial managers, you’ll set best practices and provide direction to ensure operational excellence.
  • Your role will also involve analyzing bids to ensure profitability, producing P&Ls, and managing governance and sign-off processes for all submissions. You’ll oversee operational activities such as quarterly revenue reconciliations, rate and charge validations, third-party cost approvals, and PO generation. From managing credits and timesheets to ensuring compliance with financial and commercial governance, you’ll be at the center of delivering value and maintaining strong customer relationships.

Who we are looking for

 

  • Over 3 years of clear commercial experience in telecommunications or a similar industry
  • Proven ability to manage in-life contracts with values up to €100M TCV and deliver all commercial obligations
  • Experience leading teams and working cross-functionally
  • Excellent relationship-building skills with credibility at senior levels
  • Strong communication skills—written and verbal—with internal and external stakeholders
  • Significant experience developing and negotiating compelling commercial propositions or managing complex telco/outsource contracts
  • Solid understanding of contractual issues impacting bids and their commercial implications
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced environment with a track record of delivering through others
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Desirable: Accountancy qualifications
