Role Purpose:

The Digital Commercial Lead is responsible for leading product teams focused on driving commercial growth within Vodafone's digital channels. This role requires a strategic leader who can deliver on business objectives by leveraging digital platforms, customer insights, and cross-functional collaboration to maximise revenue growth and enhance Vodafone’s digital offerings.

Essence of Role – Key Accountabilities:

Lead Digital Commercial Strategy: Drive the development and execution of digital product strategies that contribute to Vodafone’s commercial objectives, ensuring alignment with overarching business goals.
Product Team Leadership: Lead and inspire cross-functional product teams, fostering collaboration between Product, Marketing, Engineering, and other teams to deliver on commercial growth targets.
Revenue Growth: Identify and execute digital product opportunities that drive revenue growth across multiple customer segments (Mobile, Fixed & Converged).  Customer-Centric Commercial Innovation: Drive the innovation of new digital offerings, ensuring that commercial strategies are rooted in customer insights and needs.
Performance Tracking and Optimisation: Establish clear KPIs to track the performance of digital products, regularly reviewing data and customer feedback to inform product enhancements and adjustments.
Stakeholder Management: Manage relationships with senior stakeholders to ensure alignment on product priorities, resource allocation, and commercial objectives.

Continuous Improvement: Lead a culture of continuous improvement within the product teams, ensuring an agile approach to digital product development that rapidly adapts to changing market conditions and customer demands

 

We Are Looking For You, If You Have:

Essential:
Knowledge of e-commerce and digital sales channels, particularly in a telecommunications or similar industry
Experience managing cross-functional teams and driving product development and optimisation in fast-paced digital channels.
Strong understanding of commercial growth strategies, including pricing, product launches, revenue forecasting, and market positioning.
A deep understanding of customer segmentation and lifecycle management, with the ability to develop digital products that meet diverse customer needs.
Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and convert it into actionable strategies.
Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and align teams around common goals. 
Proven experience working in Agile methodologies and managing product roadmaps to deliver on commercial objectives.

Desirable:
Experience in using digital analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, A/B testing platforms) to inform product decisions.
