Your Team:
The Go to Market Lead role is part of the overall Mobile Value Stream within the Vodafone consumer business. You will be working within our Mobile segments team who are responsible for developing the Mobile strategy, future propositions, driving awareness, engagement, and demand for our products & services, across multiple channels. The billpay mobile team is responsible for delivering propositions which delight our customers and grow our billpay base and revenue. This team acts as the voice of the customer, and we will grow by providing the very best experience, products and services to our customers.
Your Role:
The Go To Market Lead is responsible for the planning and executing of all GTM activities in order to deliver our propositions to customers in the most engaging and consumer focussed way in order to achieve competitive advantage for Vodafone mobile in the Irish Market.
You will work as part of Vodafone Ireland’s Consumer Mobile Value Stream who are responsible for owning, shaping & defining the commercial success and strategy of the Vodafone Mobile portfolios. The team works very closely with all other Consumer teams in the business as one virtual team, from Brand & CVM to Product Delivery & Devices, as well as cross functionally with our colleagues in Finance, Customer Operations, and Technology & Networks.
Essence of Role – Key Accountabilities:
Lead in Segmented Marketing & Go to Market
Using in depth knowledge of the Consumer Market & Competitive Landscape you will support development of targeted segment strategies & planning in collaboration with the wider segment team and other key stakeholders.
Lead the Mobile GTM Governance including ownership for alignment with PAYG GTM to ensure consistently aligned GTM plans. Overall leadership of the GTM planning process ensuring ownership and accountability for mobile quarterly and monthly Go to Market plans.
Develop deep insight & understanding of target customer segment. You will have ownership for design, delivery and execution of the marketing plan, managing delivery of new segment tactical plans, promotions and GTM activities.
Ownership for briefing all marketing (BTL and ATL) campaigns to brand and CVM teams in a timely manner, ensuring the legal and compliance sign off.
Ensure all propositions are translated into clearly understood and compelling marketing messages which have the customer needs and benefits at their core.
Act as gatekeeper for customer facing collateral and communications in all channels, ensuring consistency and consumer focus in all mobile marketing in channels.
Channel lead with a focus on assessing the effectiveness of our marketing messaging, pricing and propositions in all channels. Ensuring clear communication between sales channels and mobile strategy team. Ensuring there are key insights on what can be improved.

Champion customer-centric thinking from definition of marketing strategy through to execution
Drive customer engagement programmes across all levels within customer organisations
Input to the development of standout contact strategy that is consistent, relevant and personalised at all times.
Develop customer insights to support the formation of the overall segment strategy and operational plans
Leadership and teamwork
Through a process of ongoing engagement & two-way communications, ensure the support for and commitment to the delivery of the team strategy & proposition roadmap from the wider partner groups.
Work with virtual Consumer team (representatives across all functional areas) to deliver against performance metrics.
Work cross functionally taking responsibility for the insights brief, drive proposition development & implementation of activities that will differentiate Vodafone.
Innovation and change
Together with the wider team and in conjunction with other segment leaders, define proposition details for core products including customer experience, technical requirements, alignment to overall brand positioning and market launches.
Active participation in go-to-market meeting slots when segment representation is required.
We Are Looking For You, If You Have:
Essential
Ability to lead and influence wide ranging stakeholder groups up across sales, marketing, finance and technical teams. Demonstrate a deep understanding of Vodafone products, customer needs and market trends is vital.
Experience in marketing strategy, strong planning and implementation skills.
Excellent communication skills with experience in working collaboratively across many teams.
Strong attention to detail and rigorous GTM planning and organisational skills.
Growth mindset, hungry to deliver innovative market changing propositions and marketing campaigns and ambition to win in competitive environment.
Experience in working in fast changing marketing environment, understanding the macro environment, competitor landscape and a deep understanding of customer segment needs.
Experience in succeeding in high profile, pressurised environment that demands flexibility, multi-tasking and delivering to deadlines.
Education to a degree level or highly relevant compensating work experience; previous telecommunications experience advantageous; experience in working in sales and/or marketing functions in a similar sector i.e. telecoms, tech, utilities
Desirable
Previous experience working to delivery in diverse projects across multiple business functions such as IT, Sales and Networks.
Business insight and excellent problem-solving ability, looks for ways to overcome blocks and implement solutions.
