What you’ll do

The Inclusive Leadership role is pivotal in driving transformation and enabling our People leader community. This role is responsible for leading initiatives that enhance leadership capabilities, promote a culture of continuous improvement, and ensure the effective measurement of leadership impact. Additionally, the role holder will be passionate about leading and promoting Vodafone's BELONG Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) agenda, actively developing a dedicated programme , while partnering with Local Networks, HR, and the Vodafone Learning Organisation in order to meet our Leadership and DEI ambitions.

 

  • Develop a cohesive plan to activate our Leadership standards in the business and align with our transformation ambitions in partnership with the Head of People Strategy and the Vodafone Learning Organisation.
  • Ownership of designing   and leading sessions that focus on setting the tone for leadership, demonstrating change, and taking ownership. The purpose of these session is to empower leaders to role model desired behaviours and drive cultural transformation.
  • Encourage key behaviour shifts throughout the organisation, such as moving from spectating to leading, taking ownership, and fostering a challenger mindset.
  • Influence and activate change through our change maker and firelighter communities to ignite the leadership standards and behaviour shifts. These leaders will play a crucial role in creating a safe space for challenging the status quo and driving innovation.
  • Partner with Spirit and Engagement teams across the business to promote a cohesive network for our Leadership standards and cross collaboration of the DEI network agenda.
  • Promote our coaching platform and encourage Leadership engagement and development in line with our ambitions.  Establish bespoke coaching needs for leadership teams in the business in partnership with Learning and Performance Lead and HRBPs.
  • Utilise tools and surveys to measure the impact of leadership initiatives on team performance and engagement, analyse and link to development plans. This includes tracking improvements in team spirit, engagement scores, and actions based on feedback.
  • Maintain a continuous improvement mindset of evaluating and adapting based on feedback, ensuring agility in our leadership journey.
  • Partner with business leaders and HRBPs to support the Leadership agenda at Team effectiveness sessions for consistent promotion of our leadership standards.
  • Ensure the integration of diversity, equity, and inclusion policies across all levels of the organisation. This includes establishing and monitoring DEI metrics to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate closely with business sponsors and DEI networks to drive initiatives that promote an inclusive culture. This partnership is crucial for aligning DEI goals with business objectives and gaining support from key stakeholders.
  • Conduct thorough analysis of BELONG survey results and other performance metrics related to DEI. Use these insights to inform strategies and actions that enhance the organisation's DEI efforts.
  • Lead the creation and implementation of comprehensive DEI plans in collaboration with the wider HR team. This includes working with Internal Communications, Learning and Development, Talent Acquisition, and HR Business Partners to ensure a cohesive approach.
  • Regularly review and update DEI strategies and initiatives based on feedback, performance data and external insights. Provide transparent reporting on DEI progress to internal and external stakeholders to maintain accountability and drive continuous improvement

What you'll need:

  • 5+ years experience in learning and development
  • Proven experience in leadership development, coaching, and facilitation
  • Strong understanding of cultural transformation and behaviour change.
  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills.
  • Ability to analyse data and derive actionable insights.
  • Passion for all things DEI & experience in leading business partnership and Network engagement
