About this role

We are seeking a skilled individual to identify, nurture and close SME sales opportunities across assigned national accounts. This role focuses on building a strong sales pipeline, understanding customer goals, and shaping solutions across Mobility, Fixed, Mobile Broadband, Unified Communications and Security. The individual will manage the full sales cycle—from prospecting and discovery to proposal, negotiation and ongoing account management—while working collaboratively with wider teams across VOIS and Vodafone Ireland.

What you’ll do

  • Develop and deliver a plan that supports the SME “Protect & Nurture” strategy within Vodafone Ireland.
  • Own and execute a tailored contact strategy to reach all assigned accounts.
  • Understand, document and manage customer requirements to support proposals and contracts.
  • Work collaboratively with Solutions Sales to identify opportunities and achieve revenue targets.
  • Build, manage and maintain a sales pipeline of at least four times the annual sales target.
  • Support and participate in marketing activities and commercial events.
  • Facilitate client discovery sessions to understand challenges, operational context and business needs.
  • Communicate how Vodafone’s portfolio can meet customer requirements through a consultative, solutions‑focused approach.
  • Work with internal teams to respond to tender requests, coordinate input streams and engage with procurement departments.
  • Prepare quotes, negotiate commercial terms and guide opportunities through procurement to contract completion.
  • Report sales performance and pipeline progress to the Inside Sales Manager.
  • Contribute to marketing-led initiatives aimed at accelerating growth across key areas.

Who you are

  • Experience of 2+ years in a similar sales or client‑facing role.
  • Passion for delivering high‑quality client experiences in a service‑driven environment.
  • Excellent communication, relationship‑building and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong business acumen, with the ability to make sound decisions in a fast‑paced setting.
  • A proactive mindset with motivation to achieve strong performance results.
  • Strong organisational and time‑management skills.
  • High commercial awareness with an understanding of sales cycles and project dynamics.
  • Confident presenter, able to engage stakeholders across all organisational levels including executive and C‑suite.
  • Proven success in delivering against quarterly and annual sales targets.
  • Ability to work flexibly, under pressure, with a solutions‑oriented mindset.
  • Skilled in addressing service issues and resolving customer concerns.
  • Ability to provide constructive feedback and contribute to service improvements.
  • Familiar with established sales methodologies and best‑practice techniques.
